Honeycam - What is FPS?

FPS is an abbreviation of Frames Per Second. It indicates the number of frames per second. In other words, Honeycam captures 10 images per second if the FPS is set to 10.

If a series of images are continuously played back, it becomes a video image. FPS is an element that determines how many images will be displayed per second. FYI, movies played at movie theater use 24 FPS, while many video files use 30 FPS.

An image becomes smoother if the FPS is higher, but the file size increases if the FPS is high due to the low compression rate of GIF. Therefore, 10 to 20 FPS is recommended for animated images.
